Greek Supplier Companies Have Longest Wait for Repayment in Europe, Survey Says

The Swedish company Intrum Justitia released the European Payment Report 2017 on Monday which showed that the Greek state is the champion of having the worst solvency in Europe when it comes to repayments of the 29 countries surveyed.
The report showed that the average time for transaction payments between companies in Greece is one of the longest recorded in Europe, averaging 63 days while the average contract stipulates a 49 day period for payments.
Also, in Greece the real-time of repayment of supplier companies this year averages 103 days, an improvement from 2016’s 115 day average, but still 23 days over the agreed upon 80 days in the average contract.
