Greek FinMin: Creditors Must be Clear on Debt Relief Measures (video)

Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos stated on Wednesday that creditors must come to a clearcut decision on the Greek debt issue.
Speaking at an Economist forum entitled “Greece: A Comeback to the Financial Markets?” in Frankfurt, Tsakalotos said that, “Everyone agrees that Greece has fulfilled its commitments.” He pointed out Greece now needs “clarity” about debt sustainability measures.
“We do not mean that we need to take these measures now,” he said, adding that what Greece needs is “a signal that reforms have taken place and that short-term debt measures are in place, as well as satisfactory clarity about medium-term measures for the debt in order to get Greece on a debt sustainability path.”
“I would be happy if the financial markets assured us that this time Europe did not postpone decisions again. On June 21, one week after the Eurogroup, I want the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Handelsblatt, to say that the decision taken gives the trust that ECB needs, markets, investors, “the Greek Finance Minister stressed.
