Eurogroup President Spox Says Dijsselbloem Expects Deal on Greek Bailout Next Week

Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem says that he expects to conclude the deal for the Greek bailout program at the June 15 meeting, his spokesman said on Friday.
A report by Reuters says that IMF chief Christine Lagarde will be attending the euro zone finance ministers‘ meeting next week — a good sign that differences between Greece’s EU creditors and IMF are narrowing.
The report continues by saying that EU officials said, although there is growing optimism, there was not much progress on Thursday’s meeting of euro zone representatives, which leaves prominent issues in the hands of finance ministers on June 15 in Luxemburg.
A conclusion of the second review of the 86 billion euro ($96 billion) bailout would include the unblocking of new loans for Athens, which are needed to pay debts due in July.
