An extraordinary scene was witnessed by ferry passengers at the small port of Megalo Pefko, south of Athens, when a driver jumped into the water to rescue his car that was floating away in the Saronic Gulf.
The amazing incident occurred earlier this month and was captured by amateur video that was only made public on Thursday.
It is not clear how the luxury car ended up in the water.
However, according to some witnesses, the driver with his car was preparing to embark on a ferry heading to the nearby island of Salamis.
Eventually the car was rescued with the help of passers-by who jumped into the water to assist the driver.
