One Dead, Four Rescued in Seaside Apartment Fire in Katerini, North Greece

One person was found dead and four were rescued in an apartment fire that broke out early Friday morning at Katerini Beach, in North Greece.
According to the Fire Department, they received a call for a fire in a tourist apartment at 7:30 am.
Twelve firemen with 4 vehicles rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The firemen found one dead in the apartment, but because of disfigurement from the flames they could not determine whether it was male or female.
The firemen also rescued four young women, ages 18-20, who were renting the adjacent apartment.
The Police and fire department are investigating and speaking to residents of the building to determine the cause.
