European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Friday telephoned Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and expressed his condolences for the victims of the earthquake that struck Kos in the early hours of the morning, as well as the Commission’s support for Greece.
The European Commission was prepared to do whatever was necessary to support the efforts of Greek authorities to deal with the aftermath of the quake, Juncker assured Tsipras.
