A 22-year-old Belgian woman was arrested on the Greek island of Corfu late on Friday on suspicion of membership in a terrorist group, according to the Athens News Agency.
The woman – who is reportedly of Moroccan origin – was arrested while traveling on a passenger ship en route to Bari-Corfu-Igoumenitsa.
The Italian authorities informed Greek law enforcement agencies on Friday that the suspected woman had left for Greece on the Super Fast ferry heading to Igoumenitsa via Corfu, according to an ANA report said.
