Greek Unemployment Rate Drops Slightly to 21.7% in May

The unemployment rate in Greece recorded a slight drop to 21.7% in May from 21.8% in April, Eurostat said in a report released on Thursday.
In the eurozone, the unemployment remained stable to 9.1% and in the EU to 7.7%.
A total of 18.916 million people were unemployed in the EU and 14.860 million unemployed in the eurozone.
Greece (21.7%) recorded the highest unemployment followed by Spain (17.1%), while Czech Republic (2.9%), Germany (3.7%) and Malta (4.1%) recorded the lowest rates.
