Greek Police Arrest Two Men for Arson in the Peloponnese

Hellenic Police (EL.AS) on Monday arrested two men on arson charges in connection with a series of fires in Ilia, in the Peloponnese, during the weekend.

The two men are Greek, aged 31 and 29 respectively, and police believe they are the ones who set the Ilia fires on Saturday. The two men are brothers and area residents and have been accused of arson before.

Police also question the two suspects on connection with another three blazes on forest land and farming fields. They will be taken to the prosecutor’s office in Amaliada to be charged later in the day.
