Aqua Vista Hotels Honored by Expedia for High Bookings


Expedia, one of the world’s largest online travel companies, recently honored Aqua Vista Hotels for successfully handling the bookings of the Spiliotica on the Cliff, one of its members in Imerovigli, Santorini.
An award-winning company, Aqua Vista Hotels received the accolade for Spiliotica on the Cliff in the category of “Best Room Nights Growth”, during a ceremony held in the honor of leading hotel and management companies in Greece on the sidelines of an event dedicated to the Greek tourism sector.
George Tsolokakis, Director of Sales, received the award on behalf of his team.
According to an announcement, within a year of taking on the management of the unit’s bookings, Aqua Vista Hotels achieved an average increase of 60 percent in occupancy, bookings, revenue and Revenue Per Available Room. The award is considered a definitive recognition of the philosophy and work model that Aqua Vista Hotels applies in its reservations system, which have brought great success and are cause for real celebration.
“It has been both a wonderful experience for us all to be part of the success achievement and we are very pleased to receive this important award for our work,” Sofia Matzourani, Business Development Manager of Aqua Vista Hotels, said during the event.
“Our aim is to secure a high booking rate for all of the units which we manage and the Expedia recognition gives us great satisfaction,” Matzourani added.
Aqua Vista Hotels was founded in 2005 and today manages a portfolio of more than 30 hotels in Greece, on the islands of Santorini, Mykonos, ParosNaxos, Lesvos and Skiathos.
