TUI Group is planning an investment programme focusing on the construction of new hotel units, its CEO Friedrich Joussen announced in a press conference held on Friday in the presence of Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura.
TUI plans to add 10 new hotel units to its hotel portfolio, aiming to reach 42.
The demand for the development of the tourism industry, as the CEO said, is to create a stable environment where, along with the development of infrastructure in ports, airports, etc., Greece will continue to play a leading role in tourism.
For the new year it is estimated that visitors arriving through TUI will exceed 2.5 million in 2017, which is particularly important, Kountoura noted.
