Five Injured after Shooting Spree in a Peloponnese Café


Five people were injured when two men start shooting at customers at a café in a village of Messinia, in the southern Peloponnese.
According to reports, the suspects, 29 and 30-year-old-men, were involved in a verbal argument at the café in the village of Kopanaki.
They left the premises and after a while they returned carrying hunting rifles which they used to shoot indiscriminately at customers.
The suspects initially fled, but were arrested a few hours later in Kalamata.
Police are conducting a criminal investigation into the shooting.
The injured have been rushed to local hospitals, but the seriousness of their condition is not yet known.
