A stone’s throw away from the Greek island of Samos lies a small islet called Kasonisi; the small rocky place which is separated from its bigger sister by a narrow strait.
Due to its unique beauty and the fact that it has not been commercialized, it is likely to attract the more adventurous and romantic visitors.
Kasonisi’s strait; because of its amazing turquoise water, is considered to be the “Blue Lake” of Greece. Shallow waters in all shades of blue and green, are ideal for swimming.
Access may be difficult but the result rewards the adventurous. An Instagram user said that the islet is “as exotic as it gets”; while another noted “turquoise waters to yourself.”
