Stray Animals Christmas Bazaar Kicks-off in Athens

The 14th Christmas Bazaar of Stray.gr, the Association for the Care and Protection of Stray Animals, kicks off on Saturday and continues through Sunday at the Thission Lofts in Athens.
The volunteers of the Association for the Protection of Stray Animals invite the citizens to visit the Bazaar and buy handmade gifts, Christmas ornaments, clothing, fun pet accessories and other gifts for Christmas and the New Year, while supporting the action of the Association.
The association, that does not receive any kind of state funding, currently counts 35 volunteers. Since its foundation, in 2003, it has rescued 4,245 pets while over 3,500 of them have been adopted, according to Association president and general secretary of the Hellenic Animal Welfare Federation Sofia Tzanaki.
The Bazaar will be held at the Thission Lofts, opposite Technopolis at Gazi, in downtown Athens, on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.
