Greek Diaspora TV Show Features Medical Tourism


The latest episode of “Greece in our Hearts” aired on Tuesday, featured the rising significance of medical tourism in Greece.
Following international conferences on the subject that recently took place in New York, Montreal, Bucharest, Sydney and Melbourne, Secretary General of the International Medical Tourism Centre Mr. Mamalakis Petros and the painter Nikos Kalatzis were the main studio guests.
The programme also featured the unveiling of the life-size replica of the Parthenon Marble Frieze in central Melbourne.
President of the Hellenic Community of Melbourne, Mr. Bill Papastergiadis, spoke on the phone.
“Greece in our Hearts” airs every Tuesday at 23:00, via “web TV-live” at http://www.star.gr/webtv/ and opens a window of Greece to the whole world, by presenting the beauty and culture of the country.
The show also showcases significant domestic business endeavors that appeal abroad. The online program is presented by Babis Petrakis; a journalist who is well-known to the Greeks of the diaspora.
