The head of the IMF team in Greece, Romanian economist Delia Velculescu, is to leave her post after three years in the job, local media reported on Friday.
Velculescu is to be replaced by Peter Dolman, a U.S. official who has headed up other IMF missions to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
Since working for the IMF from 2002, Velculescu oversaw programs in Slovenia and Cyprus.
It was in Cyprus where she reportedly had a stormy working relationship with President Nicos Anastasiades and was dubbed the “Iron Lady” by Cypriot media.
