ENI Boss: Turkish Blockade of Oil Ship 'Not Under Our Control'

The head of Italian energy giant ENI on Friday admitted a Turkish blockade of one of its drill ships was out of the company’s control.
Claudio Descalzi said the fate of the Saipem12000 off the coast of Cyprus was still being discussed at diplomatic level.
In comments covered by the Reuters news agency, Descalzi said: “It’s not really under our control.”
The Saipem 12000 was halted last Friday by Turkish warships en route to a location within block 3 of Cyprus’ EEZ.
Cyprus, the EU and Russia have said they want to see all countries in the eastern Mediterranean act within international law.
