Magnitude 4.3 Earthquake Hits Northern Aegean


A magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit early on Tuesday north of the island of Alonissos in the northern Aegean.
The epicenter of the quake that occurred at 05:52 (03:52 GMT) was 16 kms (10 miles) north of the island.

The tremor was felt in the neighboring islands of Skopelos and Skiathos.
There are no reports of injuries or damage.
Scientists say that it was an isolated phenomenon and there is no reason for concern.
