Greek Ministry of Culture staff, including archaeological sites and museum guards, will go on a 24-hour strike on Friday in Attica and on Crete.
Staff are protesting about the layoff of 20 employees in both areas, and contracts for additional staff at museums and archaeological sites.
The guards, who are participating with their own union, say they are striking over redundancy issues and financial matters related to revenues from museums and archaeological sites.
