An elderly man who drove 25 miles (40 kilometers) the wrong way down a Greek highway has been arrested.
Officers detained the 80-year-old driver in Halkidiki, northern Greece, after a high-speed chase.
Members of the public called police late on Wednesday night after seeing the car enter the wrong side of the highway from Portaria at speed.
He failed to stop for police and reportedly clipped a patrol car deployed to stop him.
The driver eventually hit a barrier, bringing his dangerous journey to a sudden halt.
No injuries were reported.
