For the second year in a row, the city of New York has welcomed and presented the authentic, unique tastes of the South Aegean Region.
Argyro Barbarigou, Ambassador of the South Aegean 2019 Gastronomic Region, in collaboration with the Dames d’Escoffier, has put together a special menu that celebrates the simplicity of the Aegean flavors.
On March 13, a team of journalists from the most important US media outlets specialized in ethnic cuisine and gastronomical tourism from the largest US media firms, such as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, gathered to discover the secrets and highlights of the appreciated Aegean gastronomy.
The invitation to the event was also extended to well-known food bloggers and luxury travel writers. The press event took place at famous James Beard House.
