Olympiacos Women's Volleyball Team Wins European Cup in Turkey

Olympiacos Piraeus women’s volleyball team finished victorious in the second game against Bursa and won the CEV Challenge Cup on Wednesday.
After losing the first game in Piraeus with a 2-3 score, the Greek team went to Bursa, Turkey to face the team with the same name as the underdogs. However, after a convincing performance they beat the Turkish team 3-1 (25-23, 20-25, 18-25, 16-25).
Olympiacos’ comeback was impressive as they lost the first set, but turned the game around and won the next three sets. In conjunction with the 2-3 loss in Greece, the women of Olympiacos snatched the European cup.
This was the first European title of the Greek club.
