Turkish Hackers Launch Cyber Attack on Honda Greece

Turkish hackers have launched a new cyber attack against Honda Greece. The automaker’s website in Greece was infiltrated with a message condemning the country for “partnering” with terrorists.
The website of Honda Greece was down on Monday.
Instead, there was a message in Turkish and English from the hacker group Akincilar (“Invaders”) accusing Greece of harbouring terrorists by refusing to hand over the eight officers who requested asylum in Greece, following the failed coup attempt in 2016.
The hackers threatened that Turks would “throw you into the sea” like they did to their ancestors., a reference to the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922.

Last week, Turkish hackers targeted the foreign ministry’s website and that of the Athens-Macedonia News Agency. They also hacked the Greek Handball Federation and Suzuki-Greece.
Last Thursday, a counterattack was alleged to have taken place. Greek hackers from Anonymous attacked Turk Telekom servers and paralyzed the 24TV Live website for several hours.
The Greek hackers said their attacks would continue as the upcoming Turkish elections approach.
