Cutting-edge electric and hybrid cars will converge in the northern city of Thessaloniki this weekend.
The 11th Hi-Tech EKO Mobility Rally, an electric and hybrid car rally organized by the Institute of Electric Cars, will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
The emeritus president of the Dionyssis Negas Institute told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA) that a Tesla S 90D from Italy will be among the participants, while ten electric and six hybrid cars will participate in the rally.
The rally will start on Saturday at 3 p.m. in front of Thessaloniki’s White Tower and the vehicles will have to cover a total of 250 kilometers (155 miles) in the city and its outskirts.
The finish is scheduled to take place in front of Thessaloniki City Hall at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
