UN Envoy: Greece, FYROM Name Dispute Talks Narrow, Intensify

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and his FYROM counterpart Nikola Dimitrov completed on Friday a two-day round of negotiations in New York with the mediation of United Nations intermediary Matthew Nimetz.
Negotiations between the two ministers will continue in Brussels, as no agreement was reached between the two sides.
“We had meetings yesterday and today,” Nimetz told the press after the deliberations.
“What I can say is that the discussions were detailed, the issues are well defined and limited. We do not have a final solution to the issues, but both sides are determined to do what it takes to reach an agreement and work hard to achieve it,” the UN representative noted.
