Airplane Dumps Water on Major Greek Fire (video)

Video shot in Athens on Friday shows the dramatic moment when a fire-fighting airplane dumped water on a large blaze in the city’s northern suburbs.
The fire broke out in Syngrou Park in Maroussi amid rising temperatures in the Greek capital.
In the footage, smoke can be seen rising from the flames as an aircraft approaches at a low altitude before releasing a payload of water over the burning site.
Greek firefighters said 11 engines attended the blaze and three aircraft.
The fire has been partially brought under control, although media reports say a fireman was slightly injured.
