AirHelp Ranks Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Second Best Airport in the World



Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, is the second best airport in the world according to the latest annual ranking from AirHelp.

AirHelp, a startup flight compensation company, based their ranking on three vital criteria to travellers – the quality of customer service, the accuracy of the flight time and the response of the airport to social media.

In these categories, they gave Eleftherios Venizelos an overall ranking score of 8.69 out of 10, coming in just short of first place which went to Damas International Airport in Qatar with a score of 8.77.

Other airports ranked in the top 5 were Tokyo’s Hannada International Airport in third place, Germany’s Cologne-Bonn Airport in fourth place and Singapore’s Singapore-Changi Airport in fifth place.
