British Couple's Greek Vacation 'Lasted 30 Minutes'

A young couple on their first foreign trip together found themselves being sent home from Greece 30 minutes after landing because they mislaid their passports on the way.
The U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper reported on Tuesday that 27-year-old Lewis Mundy and Kimberley Floyd had to give up on their €1,580 ($1,840) five-star Greek hotel after being unable to get another flight back to Greece.
After landing in Greece on their way to Kos, the couple realized they had left their passports in the magazine pocket of their airplane seats.
They were not permitted to re-board the aircraft and a search of the plane by staff failed to uncover the missing documents.
This meant the duo were unable to enter Greece and were sent back to the U.K.
“We were supposed to be sunning it up in Greece but instead ended up at Stansted,” Lewis told the Daily Mail.
