Cannabis Plants Discovered in Greek Prison

Greek police have found a cannabis plantation at a prison farm in the northern town of Kassandra.

Sixty plants, two meters high, planted by inmates were confiscated.

According to reports, the inmates had also installed an automatic watering system in the plantation.

In Greece, a prison farm is called agricultural prison. It is correctional facility where penal labor convicts are put to economic use in a farm usually for manual labor, largely in open air, such as in agriculture and logging.
