Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras made his prediction on the team he expects to lift the World Cup in Russia during an informal chat with journalists.
Tsipras surprised everybody by saying: “If I had to make a risky prediction, I would say Uruguay.
“Of course, France is very strong. But if Uruguay beats France in the quarter finals, they will lift the cup,” Tsipras said.
He also revealed that he is disappointed that his favorite team, Argentina was knocked out of the competition.
Uruguay faces an in-form French side on Friday for a place in the semi-finals.
