Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanassis and Kostas sent a worldwide message of solidarity, diversity, and teamwork by participating in a 5K run in Athens on Saturday.
The Antetokounbros 5K Run was to help “Arc of the World”, a non-profit facility that offers shelter and education to orphaned and abandoned children. Ran by Father Antonios, “Arc of the World” has helped hundreds of children so far and is one of the most respected charity organizations in Greece.
The start of the run was at Sepolia, at the Triton basketball court, the neighborhood and the sports facility where the NBA All-Star player and his two brothers made their first steps in basketball.
The termination of the charity run was at the Panathenaic Stadium, the legendary marble stadium where the first modern-day Olympic games were held.
