Fire And Destruction Inside Greece's Burnt Ferry (photos)

The thick smoke in Greece’s Eleftherios Venizelos Ferry that caught fire in the middle of the sea is still visible in new emerging images from the port of Piraeus, after the fire fighters managed to get deeper into the vessel to extinguish the last spots of fire.

Despite the efforts of the police and fire fighters, tens of cars, buses and trucks which were parked there in order to be transported from the island of Crete to Piraeus, are still inside the many-level-garages of the vessel.

The experts still don’t know the exact cause of the fire and are not completely sure about the fate of the boat as the danger of it sinking is still probable.
