Jet Ski Athletes Offer Wild Spectacle in Greece's Saronic and Corinth Gulfs

The Hellenic Jet Sports Boating Association, in cooperation with the global association called ”Jet Raid,” kicked off a completely new type of sporting competition last Sunday, June 2, in Greece.
The competition, which will last until June 8, is dubbed the ”Akropolis Jet Raid.”
More than 35 experienced jet ski athletes from fifteen different countries from around the world are in Greece to demonstrate their skills and enjoy the spectacular beauty of Greece’s Saronic and Corinth gulfs.
Most of the world’s jet ski competitions are organized on safe, enclosed courses; this is among the very few which are held on the open seas, offering thrilling sights to onlookers and participants alike.

Among the destinations that the athletes have visited or are expected to visit soon are Nafplion, Corinth, Aegina, the Alcyon islands, Nafpaktos and others.
“Jet Raid” is a jet ski competition established back in 1998 by Nassogne Patrick. The Hellenic Jet-ski Sport & Boating Association is the main partner and collaborator of Jet Raid in the Greek event taking place this year.
The Greek branch of the association was founded in 2008 by athletes who compete with motorized water vehicles (Jet skis).
