Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Ragousis, announced in an interview at in.gr that they are creating a new electoral law.
The new electoral law will include single-seat constituencies and broad electoral districts.
Mr Ragkoysis described the law as “the real end of the after-junta “and stressed that, “the draft has been prepared, what remains to be considered is the time for the begging of the public debate”.
He also leaves open the possibility of reducing the number of MP’s, associating it with the new electoral system.
Regarding the ‘Kallikrati’s Bill’, he says that, it will bring more transparency to the municipalities, creating a grid guarantee for a sound management.
Finally, that with the publication of all ministerial decisions on the internet, will eliminate scandalous cases, such as those we have recently seen, such as Batopaidi and the structured bonds of insurance funds.
