Democrats Abroad – Greece will host a traditional Independence Day picnic at the Lagonissi public beach on Sunday, July 4.
“This is an invitation for all Americans as a community to celebrate Independence Day; bring your family and your friends and let’s celebrate the 4th of July traditionally,” Democrats Abroad in Greece chairwoman Yvette Jarvis said.
Concession stands will be set up to sell traditional Fourth of July foods and beverages (burgers, hotdogs, salads, BBQ etc.) while a fireworks display, music and even an absentee voter registration for the November mid-term elections is scheduled.
Volunteers will also hold a coordinated beach cleanup at the Lagonissi site afterwards.
