Greek giants Olympiacos, keen to respond to Panathinaikos’s signing of Sidney Govou, have made a bid for Monaco’s Brazilian winger Nene. However, according to RMC, the Athens club have not seen their offer meet with success.
Olympiacos believed a bid of €3.5M would be enough to tempt the French side to part with the exciting winger, but Monaco rejected the offer, feeling it undervalued Nene.
It remains to be seen whether Olympiacos will return with a more acceptable bid, and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be monitoring the situation closely.
