July’s Consumer Price Index determined a 5.5% increase as compared to July 2009; stated the country’s statistical office yesterday.
One year prior the annual rate of change in the CPI was 0.6%.
The CPI in July 2010 as compared to June decreased by 0.5%. A year earlier the monthly CPI change rate was -0.7%.
In the twelve month period of June 2009 to May 2010, the average rate of change was 3.1%. A year earlier the corresponding rate of change of the CPI was 2.1%.
