A folk feast in the coastal town of Kiato almost killed 2 young girls and injured many others. Twenty people were injured when a 3.5 meters pine tree fell into a church courtyard. The fall occured during a feast to celebrate the August the 15th religious holiday. Three people including two teenage girls who were seriously injured were transfered to an Athens hospital. An additional 16 people were hospitalised at a nearby Corinth hospital.
