Decline of Deposits in Greek Banks

A decline of deposits in Greek banks continued in June.  The Bank of Greece announced that deposits by businesses and individual depositors dropped during the month by 3.3 billion euros, compared to May 2010.
Total deposits in Greek banks stood at 216.5 billion euros in June. The figure since the beginning of the year has decreased by 7% or roughly 16.3 billion euros.
