Greece’s main opposition party New Democracy’s spokesman Panos Panagiotopoulos, commented today on the government’s wide reshuffle, announced in the first morning hours as a “twilight Government”. He commented on the reshuffle as being really severe.
Panagiotopoulos in a dawn statement, stressed that “it took eleven months and a long night of unprecedented tragicomic behind-the-scenes for the Prime Minister to acknowledge his government’s failure”. He also added that the reshuffle is a result of pressure and comprises, adding that many members of the previous scheme are now out and warned that if PASOK continues to exercise the same policy then its citizens will definately pay the price.
In conclusion the ND spokesman said that PASOK is a “twilight” government that has been humiliating itself from the very beginning due to its prime minister’s handlings.
