Premier Wen Jiabao says China is firm in supporting Greece and is ready to expand cooperation with Greece and help the country through its current difficulties.
During a speech at the Greek Parliament on Sunday, Wen Jiabao said China hopes that by intensifying cooperation with Greece, China can be of some help in Greece’s endeavor to tide over difficulties at an early date .
He said China applauds the efforts made by the Greek government to tackle the international financial crisis and the debt crisis. And China supports the measures taken by the European Union and the International Monetary Fund in this regard.
