On Sunday Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao briefly met with New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras.
Samaras thanked Jiabao for his support and for his purchase of Greek bonds during this turbulent period. He accepted an invitation to visit China, underlining that the previous ND government has succeded in developing lasting relationships with China and its citizens.
After inviting the ND leader to visit Beijing, the chinese premier, noted that Greece had always been a reliable partner in the European Union and that all Greek political parties want to further their bilateral relations.
