Scorpions Reschedule Concert for October 27th in Athens!

The cancelled concert by metal rock band Scorpions will finally take place on October 27th in Athens, as announced by its organisers.
The original Athens date for the band’s farewell “Get your Sting and Blackout'” tour  was scheduled for October 6th.  The Scorpions had to postpone the show after signer Klaus Meine suddenly came down with acute laryngitis. Organisers at the time had stressed that the Athens date was only postponed, and that all ticket sales would be valid for the new date.
The concert will finally take place this Wednesday at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Faliro. The venue will open at 18:30 and the concert will begin at 19:30.  The opening act is Giorgos Gakis and The Troublemakers; a five member classic rock band from Greece with influences from Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Deep Purple and naturally, the Scorpions.
The Greek metal band Firewind will arrive on stage at 20:35.  The Scorpions are due to appear on stage at 21:45.
