Ismael Blanco scored in the 90th minute to give AEK a 1-0 victory over Greek league leader Olympiakos on Saturday (video).
Olympiakos created more than enough chances to beat AEK comfortably and will especially rue a 58th minute penalty miss. Brazilian midfielder Dudu sent the ball over the bar after Marko Pantelic was brought down in the box.
Blanco, on as a second-half substitute, popped up with the winner for AEK in the last minute of normal time after good work in the penalty area from Papa Bouba Diop.
Despite the defeat, Olympiakos still tops the standings with 27 points from 12 games. Defending champion Panathinaikos, which travels to Kerkyra on Sunday, is second with 24 and a game in hand.
Also Saturday, Ergotelis beat visiting Larissa 2-1.
The match between Panserraikos and Aris was stopped in the 53rd minute due to heavy fog with Panserraikos leading 1-0. It will resume Sunday if conditions allow.
