Athenian Student Protestors Clash with Police

Today students protested in front of the Greek Parliament.  The protest was against the latest austerity measures.  Students clashed with police forces. Police fired tear gas at them after their protest march in central Athens. Reportedly no injuries or arrests took place.
Numerous unions have scheduled a general strike for December the 15th. Student protest groups are staging occupations of university buildings all over Greece.  Another student rally will take place on Monday.  This marks two years since the shooting of a Greek teenage student by a police officer that caused great upheaval in the student societies.
