The Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Tuesday that the Consumer Price Index recorded a rise of 5.2% in December 2010 compared with December 2009.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in December 2010 compared with December 2009, increased by 5.2%. In December 2009, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 2.6%, according to EL.STAT.
The CPI in December 2010 compared with November 2010, increased by 0.4%. In December 2009, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was 0.2%.
In the Jan- Dec 2010 period compared with the Jan-Dec 2009 period, the annual average rate of change of the CPI was 4.7%. The corresponding annual average rate of change of the CPI in the previous year (Jan- Dec 2009), was 1.2%.
