A special guard serving for Kallithea’s police station was killed last night from a fire of with an unknown origin. People who witnessed the attack say that the perpetrators were riding a motorycle and shooting Kalashnikov rifles.
The unlucky man who was not on duty at the time, was driving a non police vehicle along with a Albanian man. The fellow passenger was heavily injured and is now been treated at the Evaggelismos Hospital. He remains in critical condition.
Police have excluded all posibilities of a terrorism attack. They now seem to speculate a face off.
