Paphos International Airport's New Direct European Flights, Cyprus

The international airport of Paphos, on the western coast of Cyprus, will be linked with 12 European tourist destinations with direct flights from March 14th. The flights, as CNA reports, will be organized by the big Greek travel agency Kavaliero Viajes, as part of the agency’s programme CYPRUS 55+ (plus) covering travelers over 55.
The programme will link Paphos with 12, mainly new, European countries including Greece. Both the Greek company and local authorities of Paphos aim to extend the programme to more destinations. It is estimated that for the period March-May 2011, 30,000 tourists will visit Cyprus, 15,000 of whom have chosen Paphos. The Kavaliero Viajes has announced that it will launch weekly flights to Greece (Athens), Poland, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia during the period March 14-May 31.
