Coastguard Bans Kitesurfing in Greece

Kite surfing is a sport gaining popularity over the years and is a major factor of tourism on Greek islands. Its reputation is growing rapidly worldwide and it gained a large following in Greece. It is a sport embraced by the International Sailing Federation and is under assessment and evaluation for its participation at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016.
A few days ago the Coast Guard banned the sport in order to protect the swimmers, the sport and the athletes.
In fact, it allows those who want to do the activity to find a legitimate school of water sports rental on a 600 meter beach with defined corridors and without bathers so that the athlete exercises calmly.  The Gazette does not allow two or more athletes into the water at the same time. Even though The Gazette article indicates an appropriate place for the exercise of the sport, the majority of its paragraphs refute it.
