The Infrastructures, Transport and Networks Ministry is proceeding with the deregulation of the public passenger vehicles (taxis) sector, continuing the task of general structural changes being promoted by the government.
Minister Dimitris Reppas said Thursday the changes being promoted, aim at the modernization and organization of the market according to the models of major European cities, with the enactment of open procedures for the acquisition of a license and access to the profession of a taxi driver and in general the development of business activity in this sector.
